Almost 2 weeks ago we received a call from Bedlington, someone who was removing their old shed had found a nest of baby hedgehogs beneath. Luckily they had caught the mother hedgehog and followed our instructions.
Primrose and her 4 tiny babies arrived with us and were transferred to one of our mother and baby units complete with some of the original nesting material.
On Tuesday our volunteers were able to catch the first glimpse of Primrose and her brood while their hutch was given a thorough clean.
We hope you appreciate our little video enclosed. The babies are approximately 2 weeks old.
