You can also help us by providing some of the essential items that we use to care for the hedgehogs. Donations are welcome at the Centre (during opening hours). We have an Amazon Wishlist link in the Donate section of this website.
We would be delighted to accept any of the following supplies:
- Newspapers which we use daily to provide fresh bedding
- Please remember to remove any staples first as these can injure the hogs, as will machine shredded paper
- Newspapers torn into half inch strips and separated make cosy, warm bedding
- Thick waterproof rubber gloves
- Gardening gloves or heavy duty rubber gloves are used for handling the hedgehogs
- Gardening gloves or heavy duty rubber gloves are used for handling the hedgehogs
- Large heavy duty plastic bags
- Dettol, floor cleaner and washing up liquid
- Help with costs for printing services for any of the following
- Leaflets
- Forms
- Documents
- Donations of food for the hedgehogs would be very gratefully received
- Whiskas poultry in jelly pouches. We do not offer fish based food
- We use poultry flavour kitten biscuits, especially Royal Canin Mother and Babycat biscuits, dry hedgehog food
