The Rescue is open 365 days a year, and we rely on volunteers every morning to help with the daily care of the hedgehogs. It’s incredibly rewarding work, you’ll enjoy the satisfaction of supporting their recovery and giving them a second chance, whether that’s being released back into the wild or into a safe, well‑supported garden.
We run a rota system for our volunteers, Lesley manages the rota and welcomes new volunteers. She can provide full details about what’s involved in volunteering with the rescye, including the tasks, timings, and how our shifts run.
