Border Reivers Archaeology Unit

We would like to thank Border Reivers Archaeology Unit who have very generously supported us by donating the funds to launch our new website. This is very much appreciated from Carole and all the volunteers at the Rescue.

Border Reivers Archaeology Unit serve the English and Scottish counties along the Anglo-Scots Border and sometimes further afield in Scotland and the North of England. In addition to community archaeology, the team provide a range of services including planning condition archaeology which includes desk-based assessments, historic standing building work and archaeological watching briefs and evaluations. The human story of prehistoric landscapes, Roman frontiers, the Border Marches and beyond.
