We’re sending a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteer Jen, who went above and beyond to raise vital funds for the rescue.
On Saturday 16th August, Jen along with fellow volunteer Eamonn hosted a fundraising stall at the vibrant Warkworth Fair, sharing our mission with fairgoers and sparking conversations about hedgehog care and conservation. Then, without missing a beat, she set up again the very next day at Littlemoor Allotments in West Jesmond, bringing her warmth, dedication, and a brilliant display of hedgehog-themed goodies to a whole new crowd.
Thanks to Jen’s incredible energy and generosity, she raised an amazing £205 across the two events, every penny of which will go directly towards food, medication, and care for our prickly patients.
Jen’s commitment is a shining example of how one person can make a real difference. We’re so grateful for her time, creativity, and passion — and for everyone who stopped by to support her stalls.
